Story about the outfit: When Grace volunteered to entertain the children at the Children's Hospital Colorado at Christmas time, the first thing she did was to call one of her talented friends to design a special outfit for her to perform in. It had to be dazzling. It had to be Christmas-y. It would have to be cuddly and comfortable, too. When her new outfit was created for her, she gasped in surprise! It was almost an exact replica of a NYC Rockette's costume! It was sparkly and had a luxurious white fur collar... It was PERFECT! When the big day arrived, Grace was absolutely radiant in her new outfit. And with her matching new tap shoes, she was more than ready to spread some Christmas cheer. She tapped, twirled, and sang for the children in the hospital. Once she finished singing a fun version of "Santa Baby" and caught her breath, she read them a Christmas story and surprised each child with a cuddly cloth doll to keep them company. It was a wonderful day. Long after the children would grow up healthy and strong, they would always remember the wonderful performance by the glamorous visitor at the hospital that day. But most of all, they would remember the kind lady's soft beautiful costume, and the warmth they felt when they were hugged by Grace.
